A nurturing, warm and calm place for your little ones
Welcome to Toddler Town, a privately owned day nursery providing teacher-led care and early education for children aged 2-5 years.
We believe that early years experiences shape the developing brain and we look to enhance these influential years for all children in our care through the provision of a warm, calm and nurturing environment in which each child can flourish, ensuring each child develops confidence and begins a lifetime love of learning through their positive physical, emotional and cognitive development.
Good manners, respect and healthy attitudes towards ourselves and others promote an environment where children and staff feel happy, secure and are able to flourish.
Food & Nutrition
We believe that children should look forward to mealtimes and develop a healthy attitude to food and have therefore partnered with NURSERY KITCHEN and join in their mission to promote happier and healthier futures.
NURSERY KITCHEN provides both nutritious and delicious food, all of their meals are fresh and full of flavour thanks to their team of professional chefs and a dedicated early years nutritionist who creates and makes the meals with consistency and care.
Our wholesome menus not only caters to dietary needs but are also filled with variety and flavours from around the world, encouraging children to be more adventurous with food and develop a varied palate that relishes the taste of healthy food.
Meet the Team
Hello, I’m Lucy,
Toddler Town has been an ambition of mine since the birth of my own daughter and my dream for the past decade.
I am delighted to be able to open the doors and welcome our new staffing team and a legion of little ones to our nursery.
Having worked for over 20 years creating educational and care environments my hope was to create a space where both areas of my expertise could be blended in order to provide a nurturing and caring place for young children in their early years.
Jo, is my chosen manager, she has been working in education since 2004, qualifying 11 years ago as a teacher (BSc (Hons) Psychology before returning to study for her PGCE in Primary with Early Years and gaining her Qualified Teacher Status) much of this time has been spent in early years education.
She is extremely patient, kind and empathetic, easily establishing a rapport with children whilst maintaining a professional perspective.

Government funded childcare
In England, government funded early education schemes provide either 15 hours or 30 hours of free childcare per week for children aged 2, 3 & 4. Parents will need to check their eligibility for this depending on their circumstances. Please see links below for further details.
Tax-free childcare
You can get Tax-Free Childcare at the same time as 15 or 30 hours free childcare subject to eligibility. You can get up to £500 every 3 months (up to £2,000 a year) for each of your children to help with the costs of childcare. If you get Tax-Free Childcare, you’ll set up an online childcare account for your child. For every £8 you pay into this account, the government will pay in £2 to use to pay your provider. Please see the link below for further details.
Sessions
Open 5 days a week, 51 weeks per year.
